As a guest speaker, she lectures at many hospitals and universities both nationally and internationally. Dr. Tareen has also presented her work locally for medical professionals, social workers, seminars, psychologists, and nurses.

Dr. Tareen is an avid healthcare researcher and writer. As Associate Professor of Psychiatry, she has been involved in many academic research projects in different areas of interest. She has not only published a book on the emerging field of Psychodermatology, but also collaborated with medical professionals around the world and contributed to various research articles, textbook chapters, and books.
