Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

 

We are among the first regional and national providers of TMS, an innovative, FDA-approved, and highly-effective treatment for patients suffering from depression that has

not responded to conventional treatments.

TMS is ideal for patients who cannot tolerate medications due to severe sensitivities or comorbid medical conditions.

Ketamine and Esketamine 
 
We are now proud to offer Infusion Therapy to our patients! We here at Kalamazoo TMS & Behavioral Health are always looking for new and innovative treatments to help out patients suffering from treatment resistant depression, and we now offer Ketamine Infusion, and Spravato (Esketamine) a new FDA approved treatment in office to help achieve this goal.

emotional and physiological levels. As a psychodermatologist, Dr. Tareen utilizes her dual training in dermatology and
psychiatry to provide comprehensive and alternative clinical approach by addressing both patients' dermatologic and psychiatric needs.
Women's Behavioral Health
 
An emerging issue in psychiatry is the underdiagnosis of psychiatric conditions that are specific to women. The fact that men and women suffer from the same mental illnesses in different ways is often overlooked. Fortunately, Dr. Tareen's has extensive clinical and research experience in treating women's mental health needs including premenstural, perimenopusal and perinatal mental health disorders.

Somatoform disorders are mental illnesses  that present themselves as various physical symptoms, including neurological symptoms, gastrointestinal distress
illness related anxieties and pain issues. Dr. Tareen is board certified in psychosomatic disorders and is experienced in diagnosing  and treating various somatic disorders.
